ECHOLINE

MADE BY KIRK FUSON

Small tools. Big ideas.

Apps I built because I needed them. I run Omarchy Linux, so that's where they start. More are on the way as I clean them up to share.

LaunchShelf

A home for the apps you build.

If you build small apps, they end up scattered across folders, and you forget how to start half of them. Drop a project folder on LaunchShelf, check what it suggests, and that app gets its own card with one big Launch button.

This is the real app with made-up projects. The video has no sound.

LaunchShelf showing six projects as colorful cards, each with a Launch button.
Every project gets its own card.
A dialog asking Does this look right, showing a suggested name and launch command.
Drop in a folder and check its settings. Nothing runs yet.
A project card showing it is running.
One button to start it.
A log window showing what the app printed when it ran.
See what it printed, even after it closes.

Before you download anything from a stranger

You don't know me yet, so here's exactly what this does on your computer.

  • It has no network code. It doesn't phone home, and there are no accounts or tracking.
  • It only runs a command after you've saved it and pressed Launch. Adding a folder never runs anything.
  • It installs to your own user account, with no administrator password, and comes with an uninstaller.
  • Your source files stay where they are. It only keeps its list of projects and their logs.
  • It's open source under the MIT license, so you can read every line first.
  • It's an early version. It needs Linux on x86_64, and my real-world testing has been on my own Omarchy machine, so other setups may have rough edges.
